For boxy Merc's. Perhaps it's a combo of the over-engineering in the engine and not the dash, the crash-through-a-wall-and-only-hurt-the-wall durability (seriously, my cousin's crazy ex-girlfriend "accidentally" crashed his '9-something C-class into a brick wall. The car still lives on 10 years later), and the honest!"I'm not a BMW" styling. They've also lost any "wanna-be" baller-on-a-budget bottom-feeder imagery, leaving just an honest, if imperious, car. I honestly get one in a heartbeat.
Crazy, or just insane?
Have a song, too

As long as you don't mind going slow I say you're good!

My mom had a 240D in college (brand new) that would regularly get passed by walkers and butterflies.
They're not ALL that slow, are they?

I mean, I can't think of a single fast one except the Hammer, 500E, and 6.9 cars.

Fast as in sports-car fast, or as in can keep up with traffic without being terrifying?

I like the newer ones well enough, it's just that they try too hard to be Lexii/BMWs. The newer ones are better (love the last gen C class), but the ones from the 2000s are a bit...eugh.

You should be able to keep up, but don't expect to win any stoplight drags.
